N.78 Contact Adhesive 125 g is an adhesive containing solvent-based polychloroprene.
Application Areas
It is used for bonding leather, rubber, wood, plywood, chipboard, decorative laminate, cork, felt, metal, linen and fabric.
Application
Both surfaces of the material to be bonded should be sanded. After sanding, possible oils and dirt on the material should be cleaned with cleaning solvent. It is applied to leather or porous materials with a clean brush. After the application process, it should be kept at room temperature for 15–30 minutes to allow the solvent on the surface of the material to evaporate.
After the material is adhered, it should be pressed at least 3 bars. Pressing time is at least 10 seconds. Derby N.78 Contact Adhesive, like all Neoprene based adhesives, thickens below 0°C. In this case, if the adhesive is kept at room temperature for 1 day, it becomes usable again. It should never be heated in a naked flame.
Shelf Life
24 months in its unopened original packaging, under appropriate storage conditions and at room temperature.

N.78 Contact Adhesive contains solvent and toluene. Store the packages in well-ventilated areas. Keep away from sources of glare. Do not smoke. Do not inhale the vapour. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not pour into drainage channels.
