Derby D40 Shower Cabin Silicone is a solvent-free silicone ideally used in the production and assembly of shower cabins. It is a high-quality sealing and filling material that provides excellent adhesion.

Application Areas
Used for:
- Production and installation of shower cabins
- Filling gaps between shower cabin, bathtub, and tiles for waterproofing
- Filling bathtub-to-tile joints after bathtub installation
- Sealing joints between sinks and tiles to prevent water leakage
Application
During application, the temperature should be between +5 °C and +40 °C. The mobility of the silicone should be considered when determining the joint width. Minimum joint size: 5×5 mm. For wide joints, the depth should be half the width. The depth can be adjusted using a joint filler rod. To ensure good contact with the surface, smooth the silicone with a spatula within 5 minutes after application. Uncured silicone can be cleaned using silicone cleaner.
Shelf Life
18 months in unopened original packaging, stored at room temperature under appropriate storage conditions.
