D70 Rigid PVC Adhesive 125g

Special adhesive for bonding rigid PVC-U parts such as plates, pipes, and elbows.

Application Areas

• Used for joining U-PVC pressure pipe joints such as potable water, gas, and agricultural irrigation pipes.
• Resistant to water, alcohol, oil, and gasoline.
• Complies with German DIN 16970 standard.

Application Instructions

Cut pipe ends and joints at the correct angle and deburr them.

Clean bonding surfaces thoroughly and ensure they are dry and free of oil and dirt.

Mark the areas where adhesive will be applied for accurate placement.

Stir the adhesive before use. Apply a smooth and even layer of adhesive.

Apply the first coat inside the fitting, then along the pipe up to the marked point. It is recommended to apply adhesive twice on the pipe.

Immediately push the parts together without turning. Hold in place for a few seconds until initial bonding occurs.

Wipe off any excess adhesive with a cloth.

As the adhesive cures quickly, assemble parts within 3 minutes of application. This time may be shorter at higher temperatures or with thin layers.

Do not apply pressure to the bonded system for the first 5 minutes. At temperatures below +10 °C, curing time increases 2–3 times.

Pressure tests should be conducted after 24 hours.

Shelf Life

Do not store below +5 °C or longer than 12 months.

If the adhesive thickens due to cold, place it in a warm room and stir occasionally.
