Derby D32 General Purpose Silicone is a one-component (acetic curing) sealing and filling material with a wide range of uses. It provides strong adhesion to most non-porous surfaces, including general building materials.

Application
During application, the temperature should be between +5 °C and +40 °C. The mobility of the silicone should be considered when determining joint width. Minimum joint size: 5×5 mm. For wide joints, depth should be half the width. The depth can be adjusted with a joint filler rod. To ensure surface contact, smooth the silicone with a spatula within 5 minutes of application. Uncured silicone can be cleaned with silicone cleaner.
Shelf Life
18 months in unopened original packaging, stored under proper conditions and at room temperature.
Warning
- Not recommended for porous surfaces such as marble, natural stone, or concrete.
- Should not be used on sensitive metals like copper, brass, lead, or on mirrors.
- Not paintable.
- Not suitable for aquarium use.
- May yellow under direct sunlight.
- Requires moisture to cure—avoid use in fully enclosed areas.
- Ensure well-ventilated environment; avoid prolonged inhalation of acetic acid vapor during curing.
- Avoid prolonged contact with uncured silicone.
